Bio

Stella Le Page is a musician, composer and artist from the UK. 

She studied classical cello, piano and composition at the Royal College of Music in London from 2005-2009 before embracing the London commercial scene, playing keyboards for Primary 1, accompanying and composing with rapper Plan B, and recording cello for an assortment of pop artists.  

In 2012 she signed a publishing deal as a songwriter and composer with Universal France and moved to Paris to pursue a solo musical project. She has since recorded with Chateau Marmont, Alex Beaupain, Gunship, Sarah McCoy, Gary Barlow, and La Femme, toured as a backing singer for Mercury Music Prize-winner Benjamin Clementine, and collaborated with pianist and composer Malakoff Kowalski on several film scores.  

In 2017 she joined forces with world-renowned pianist Chilly Gonzales and has since accompanied him on cello, piano, vocals and percussion on stage in some of the biggest concert halls throughout Europe and Canada. She has also recorded on several of his projects, including A Very Chilly Christmas, French Kiss and his latest album Gonzo

Besides her work as a touring cellist, she has been forging her own unique path as a composer and multi-instrumentalist releasing 8 self-produced albums in the last 9 years, combining orchestral instrumentals, sparse solo cello compositions and sophisticated baroque pop songs.  

Alongside musical projects, she has been developing her passion for art since 2020, and held her first exhibition, Behind Closed Doors at the Galérie du POPUP! in Paris in 2024, comprising iPad-illustrated self-portraits, handmade collages, and a 36-page fanzine of art and poems.
